This is how you made it

Miss Lenie kindly showing me how to make the bling bling flower.
  1. cut some oval-shaped fabrics like shown. You might want to light burn around it's edge or coat it with transparent nail polish so we wont have messy petals later.
  2. fold the fabric half and start sew the edge like so..
  3. then you can start pull the string and create flat petal like that.
  4. attached one by one, 5-6 petals together and create the flower
  5. you'll have something like this. Just make sure that the petal stuck together nicely, don't worry about the hole in the middle because we're going to cover it with some pearls and crystals.
  6. taaadaaaa.... nice bling bling hand made flower.
You could use this flower to decorate everything from your head to your toes! i.e. hair ban, hair pin, nice retro necklaces, bracelet, broche even on your shoes.

Swarovski on the flowers

Remember last time I posted some pictures of the handmade flowers for my wedding gown? Here are some pictures of the same flowers with crystals and pearls on. I never like bling bling before.. but they look absolutely gorgeous - not too much, just right...

Flowers

The first rule I have for flower arrangement or decoration will be 'No Roses and No Orchid'. Why? I don't know. Maybe I feel Roses are just to girly and common. And although I know Orchid means Love and Strength, but I'm just not feeling it.

The only flower I want for a hand bouquet will be a long green Calla Lilies. Lucky I found this somewhere in the internet. Do you think I could get this for my hand bouquet?

And the rest of the decoration will use these flowers. See.. no roses and Orchid, they still look great!
